VTA Contract manufacturing

Customers can outsource their distillation and pastillation process to VTA in Niederwinkling, Germany. VTA operate their toll distillation and pastillation plants 24 hours per day, and 7 days per week. The associated storage area is roof covered and ATEX certified. VTA assures confidentiality of their customers' know-how.

About contract distillation

Many years of experience in designing thin film, short path and fractional distillation units enabled VTA to install optimized multi-purpose toll distillation plants at their site in Niederwinkling. The systems are designed according to the European explosion protection directive and even high melting and high viscous material can be processed.
For the distillation of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, the specific distillation system is validated separately. Materials typically ship in ISO tanks, IBCs, drums, or even smaller containers.

About contract pastillation

Typical products for pastillation are waxes, oleochemicals (fatty acids, etc.), resins, additives, polymers and many more. A rotating perforated tube forms the pastilles.
These solidify on a 15 m long water-cooled steel belt. The material can have a melting point of up to 180 °C. The plant has a capacity of 300 kg/h to 1,200 kg/h, depending on the properties of the material. The pastilles are packed in big bags or drums. The maximum viscosity at the operating temperature is 10,000 mPas.
