Polymer Handling
Our extrusion gear pumps optimize the extrusion process, precisely transporting the product stream and efficiently building up die pressure in order to relieve the extruder of the pressure build-up phase. The melt is conveyed extremely uniformly through the die which guarantees a consistently high quality of the finished product (e.g. sheets, profiles, tubes, foams, blown film or hoses).

The MAAG extrusion pumps Suurmond supplies are used for various stages in polymer handling; masterbatch, recycling, extrusion, compounding and polymer production.
These processes require gentle conveyance and a constant flow of high to low viscosity products. Special design pumps assure operation at high pressures up to 700 bar, low compression and low shear, even for extremely dry or sticky compounds!
