MAAG gear pumps and filtration systems are used in processes to purify plastic melt to guarantee the quality of your product. Purity determines the quality of the finished polymer (plastic) at the end of extrusion and processing. Filtration is therefor of great importance. That applies to virgin polymers but also to polymers that are processed with recycled plastics.
The MAAG gear pumps ensure gentle and efficient transport of the high and low viscous plastic melts through the system. Oligomers, pre-polymers and plastic melts are conveyed reliably in one flow, even at low filling levels and with high vacuum on the suction side. To improve the product quality and to increase the proportion of recycled materials, MAAG offers a wide range of filtration solutions like, dis-continuous and continuous screen changers and large area filtration systems. We can offer you the optimum solution based on the contamination degree of the melt and your process demands.
