The use of our compounding pumps

Polymer processes require booster pumps and polymer metering pumps that gently process both high and low viscosity plastic melt through the polymer processing system.

Specially designed low-compression teeth allow the MAAG thermorex® transfer, booster or metering gear pumps to achieve both high pressure and low shear. The melt is conveyed continuously and pulselessly even at high discharge pressures. These pumps are also effective in (low viscosity) prepolymer applications. High volumetric efficiency and long service life make them an excellent choice.

Polyrex6 PR pumps are used in the Polyolefin industry for pressure building, especially in compounding applications. The new Gen6 gear geometry provides excellent results in pressure generation, low shear and reduced bearing temperature increase. This is shown in both high and low viscosity applications.
